Artist Spotlight
James H. is a Grade 12 student at Diefenbaker, who you may recognize from his main role as "Peter" in the 2023 production of "Peter and the Starcatcher". He started acting at a young age, and would participate in local theatre shows. James continued on with Drama throughout Middle School and High School. During his first production here at Diefenbaker, he filled in for a large role and had everything memorized in less than two weeks before the performance! Quite impressive right?! As talented as he is, James does not plan to carry on with drama after high school, although he hopes to make the most of his last year here. Look out for him in the upcoming production of “Puffs”, happening in February. He is a beloved drama student by his peers, and brings nothing but fun every time he's on a stage!

Bridging the Gap Seniors Club
Our Dief Students from the Bridging the Gap Seniors Club as well as members of our school choir visited the Senior Centre on Friday, December 15th for a Christmas Carol Sing-Along with the senior residents. Students had prepared baked goods the night before to share with the seniors. It was a very festive occasion for all and the seniors very much appreciated our students’ personal touch!
