Livestream Grad Ceremony
Grad Ceremony Friday, June 6th Centre Street Campus – 3900 2nd Street NE
Grads and families should aim for an 8:45 a.m. arrival and the outside doors to the venue will open at that time. Grads will go upstairs to find their TA area. The auditorium doors will open at 9:00 for seating. All guests entering seating areas require a ticket for entry.
Upon entering the theatre, please fill in seating rows so there are no empty spaces. Ushers may ask you to move down to allow more families to be seated. Families with pre-arranged accessible seating will be guided to their designated seats by the ushers. Once the ceremony begins, there is no waiting in the venue lobby, so guests should be in their seating area.
The doors to the theatre will be closed at 9:25 to allow the processional to begin on time. Guests who arrive late will only be seated at a single late entry in the first portion of the program, before the introduction of graduates begins. Any arrivals after that time, will be seated when appropriate to ensure it does not interfere with student speakers or the special moment of graduates crossing the stage.
No noisemakers, no large bags, no food, no drink, confetti, or other prohibited items will be permitted in the auditorium. We request that cell phones be turned off during the ceremony. Once seated in the theatre, guests should remain in their seats for the entire ceremony and are not permitted to move to the aisle or front for photo taking.
Please watch for the special Messenger on Wednesday with the link for the livestreaming.
Students who missed the opportunity to purchase additional guest ceremony tickets, please go to Student Services Monday at lunch.

Formal Reception/Grad Update May 2025
Formal Ceremony: Ticket and gown distribution will take place next week! On Wednesday, May 21st and Thursday, May 22nd graduating students will be called to Student Services to receive their grad regalia of gown, cap, tassel and vee-stole. At that time, each grad will be offered four complimentary guest tickets for family and friends to attend the ceremony. In order to receive any of these items, Grad fees must be paid at the Business Office.
Graduates do not require a ticket for themselves, but everyone else, regardless of age, requires a ticket. Families are reminded that this is not an event to bring young children to, due to the length of the ceremony and requirement to remain seated throughout the entire program and a livestream link will be offered for those not able to attend.
The final day to pick up the four free tickets will be Monday, May 26th. Any tickets not claimed will be made available for purchase, $5 each, and distributed in Student Services, on Wednesday, May 28th, beginning at 8:30 a.m., on a first come first served basis (maximum 2). Payment must be made in cash on that day. Students absent on May 28th must arrange for someone to pay and pick up their ticket at the scheduled time.

"Some of our students have asked whether they can wear items that represent their culture or identity along with their cap and gown during the graduation ceremony. As a public school system, we celebrate students from diverse backgrounds, perspectives and beliefs. Students are therefore welcome to wear items that represent their culture or identity, such as Hijabs or beads, as long as these items contribute to a welcoming, caring, respectful and safe environment."
The culmination of twelve years of education is a special time in the life of students, parents and staff and we are excited for the planning of these celebrations!
