Updates from IB
Congratulations to December’s Learner Profile contest winners. Raisa A. and Zain B. both value global perspectives and cultures as they learn to communicate in at least three different languages. Félicitations and Felicidades!
Our focus for the remainder of the exam break will be the traits of balanced and reflective.
The Learner Profile of “balanced” is establishing well-being for oneself and others. It recognizes the interconnectivity of students with their peers, families, communities, environments and cultures and it emphasizes the intellectual, physical and emotional areas of an individual's life.
Additionally, IB learners strive to be reflective. They give thoughtful consideration to their own learning and experiences. They are able to assess and understand their strengths and limitations in order to support their own learning and personal development.
How have you demonstrated being a balanced and/or reflective this month? Enter to win FREE PIZZA by telling us how you or your friends have demonstrated the learner profile in January. Draw date will be February 5.
