All textbooks are barcoded with a unique number and students are asked to return the exact same copy signed out to them. Returning somebody else’s copy will not clear their account. If students have questions about their textbooks, please see Mrs. Richards in the library.

Artist Spotlight
Austin L. is a Grade 12 student who plans on completing Art 30, and hopes to receive a Certificate of Fine Arts through our LITA Programme. Over the past few years, he has tried several art mediums, such as watercolour and sculpting, and mainly enjoys pencil crayon. Using technology to create art has also been experimented with, in forms such as photography, graphic design, and film making. His choice to practice art comes from an interest in applying his method of thinking to different mediums and in conjunction with strengthening his skills in exploring and expressing concepts. Sources of inspiration for him are the art of others’ styles and messages broaden his view of expressing ideas.
As for his art process, he mainly considers himself freestyle, but has tried methods of anatomy, image mimicry, and composing elements in artwork. He currently uses art to express his beliefs as the main concept and focal point of his compositions. For the future, he plans on pursuing part time jobs and hobbies that involve art, with an emphasis on doing Art in collaboration with other people; such as in advertising. He wants to maintain methods of the creative process by thinking of ideas, and applying them in collaborative way.
