Good Neighbours
With the weather warming up, many of our local young people are hanging out in the community. Not everyone who comes into our neighbourhood is here just to buy groceries, gas or fast food, and as a neighbourhood, we all need to be vigilant in keeping not just our schools, John G Diefenbaker, Sir John A MacDonald and St. Helena, clean and safe. We have a wonderful team of dedicated police officers in District 3 who have been very supportive when called to support our schools and our community.
If something is making you, your family, or the community feel unsafe, please use the following contacts:

Ashley V is a Grade 12 student and a passionate musician, involved in both the Band and Choir programs at Diefenbaker! She has loved music from a young age and has been playing the piano for 10 years and the clarinet for the past six years. Over these years, Ashley’s passion for music has continued to grow and inspired her to explore different areas of performance through both instrumental and vocal music. She enjoys being part of music ensembles because they allow her to step outside of her comfort zone, collaborate with others, and express herself creatively through both instrumental and vocal performance. Ashley believes that music is a powerful way to connect with others, build confidence, and create meaningful memories. As she continues to her post-secondary studies, Ashley hopes to join the UCalgary Symphonic Band or the University Chorus, where she can continue pursuing her passion for music while balancing her academic goals. Good Job Ashley and Good Luck!
